BALTIMORE, Md.—
The Maryland Public Service Commission will conduct public hearings on the widespread power outages the state suffered during a storm.The legislative-style hearings will review utilities’ outage event reports. They are set for Sept. 13 and, if needed, Sept. 14. They will be held at 10 a.m. in the commission’s 16th Floor hearing room in the William Donald Schaefer Tower in Baltimore.
Also, eight evening public hearings will be held in August in the service territories of Baltimore Gas and Electric Co., Potomac Electric Power Co., Potomac Edison Co. and Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative. Those have not yet been scheduled.
Written public comments in this proceeding may be submitted to the PSC by Sept. 10.
