Person ejected in one-vehicle crash on National Pike

A motorist was taken to Meritus Medical Center on Friday night to be treated for injuries received in a one-vehicle crash in the 10,000 block of National Pike, according to a Washington County emergency communications supervisor and Maryland State Police.

The person injured was pinned beneath the vehicle after it crashed into a utility pole and rolled over, according to preliminary information reported by police and emergency officials.   


The person was fully ejected from the vehicle in the crash, which was reported at 9:19 p.m., according to emergency officials and police.
