A third-tier ticket worth $10,000 in the recent Powerball drawing with a $587.5 million jackpot was sold at the Maugans Avenue Shell, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
The ticket, which has been claimed, was one of 10 statewide that matched four numbers and the Powerball. Odds of doing so are 1 in 648,975.96, according to the lottery’s website.
Other third-tier winners were sold in Baltimore City (2) and Baltimore (2), Calvert, Montgomery, Prince George’s (2) and St. Mary’s counties, according to lottery officials.
