A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed the PNC Bank in the 1700 block of Dual Highway Monday morning, Hagerstown police said.

The robbery occurred around 9:10 a.m., when a man entered the bank, went behind the counter and pulled a revolver on a teller, Hagerstown police Sgt. Jim Hurd said Monday at the scene.

Hurd said the robber fled with an undetermined amount of money toward the Hampton Inn, to the rear of the bank.

The robber was described as a black male with a medium build and complexion. He was 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and was dressed in black from head to toe.

Hurd said the man was wearing a ski mask.
