Maryland State Police said two people were killed and three people were hurt when a tractor-trailer overturned onto a pickup truck on Md. 75 in Frederick County, Md.
It happened at about 2 p.m. Monday in Libertytown. Troopers say a tractor-trailer was traveling north on Md. 75 when it rounded a sharp curve and overturned into a pickup truck traveling south.
Two people in the pickup truck were pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the truck and the driver and a passenger in the tractor-trailer were taken to area hospitals.
The accident is under investigation.
