ST. TAMMANY PARISH—
The St. Tammany Parish District Attorney's Office wanted the death penalty but the man convicted of killing a Mandeville mother was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday.
Dominic Robinson was convicted in 2008 of killing Samantha Juame in 2001.
Hurricane Gustav caused a delay in sentencing.
Robinson followed Jaume home and shot her in front of her children during an attempted carjacking.
