Maybe you dated some real losers in your single days. Or maybe the people just had a bad rap.
Imagine if you dated a man who would be accused of killing the president.
“I'm tired of it, and I'm coming out with the truth. And I think it's important that people need to know who this man was,” said Judyth Vary Baker during a Skype interview.
Baker was talking about Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who shot President John F. Kennedy – unless you, like Baker, believe differently.
Baker says she lived in New Orleans and worked in the cancer research field. She has her own explanation of the Kennedy assassination which she includes in her book Me and Lee.
There may be no end to the conspiracy theories regarding the Kennedy assassination, but the movie JFK may be the best known, alternative story.
“I'm telling you right now there are plenty of things in that movie that are correct,” said Baker.
Baker says she fears for her life so she lives overseas. She feels her story is controversial and says there have been attempts made on her life.
She is making a rare trip to the United States as part of a book tour. She is making appearances in the northwestern states and making appearances via Skype in other cities.
Most of the alternate theories on the Kennedy assassination include some sort of New Orleans tie. In fact, the only man ever tried for the killing was New Orleanian Clay Shaw who was acquitted.
Baker says the people of New Orleans should all have a positive view of her once-boyfriend, Oswald.
“New Orleans can be proud of this native son,” she said.
