Students who receive an HCC Foundation scholarship must reapply. One application is available for the HCC Foundation and Student Financial Aid scholarships.

To apply for scholarships and most student financial aid scholarships, students must be enrolled for at least six credit hours. Several scholarships exist within the Foundation, each with varying criteria. The categories include Foundation General, Booster Club (athletic), Faculty/Foundation Scholarship for Academic Excellence, HCC Alumni Association, radiography, nursing and several others for students in a particular area of study. Most scholarships are need-based.

Numerous groups and individuals also have scholarships administered through the Student Financial Aid Office. Contributions made by private individuals, HCC employees, civic groups, businesses, foundations, and corporations make these scholarships possible.

Contact your high school guidance counselor or pick up an application from the HCC Student Financial Aid Office located in the Administration and Student Affairs Building or from the Office of Institutional Advancement, Learning Resource Center, room 302. You may also find the application online at www.hagerstowncc.edu/alumni-friends/hcc-foundation/scholarship-application.
