Benevola United Methodist Church members will travel to Haiti on a mission trip in April.
Tuesday, there will be a fundraiser at the Bob Evans restaurant on Dual Highway in Hagerstown.
The restaurant will donate 15 percent of meal bills to the church to help cover team members’ cost of their mission trip.
The event runs all day with breakfast, lunch or dinner to guests presenting a flier, which will be available at the restaurant.
Spaghetti dinner
The BHS and BMS band programs will host a spaghetti dinner/band performance Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
The menu includes spaghetti served with salad, bread and beverage. Baked goods will be available for purchase.
Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and those ages 8 and younger, and are free for those younger than 3. Tickets will be available at the door.
Dinner planned
Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, at 134 S. Main St., invites the community to dinner Saturday in the church’s Family Life Center.
The dinner is open to all and at no cost.
The meal includes ham and sauerkraut, potatoes and vegetables. A children’s menu will also be served. There will be a dessert table and an evening of entertainment for children and adults.
Church members will be available for child/infant care. The dinner will be served between 5:30 and 7 p.m. with two hours of square dancing to follow.
Money bonanza
The Boonsboro Ambulance and Rescue Co. will host a money bonanza Saturday, April 6.
Tickets cost $35 per ticket. The event will be held at the Boonsboro American Legion and is for adults who are 18 and older.
