Municipal Stadium will be the site of a reunion of the Boonsboro High School 2002 Maryland state championship baseball team on Sunday.
A Suns picnic and game package costs $17 per person, and teammates, friends, family and fans are invited to attend.
Game time is noon.

BHS Class of 1977 plans reunion meeting
The next planning meeting for the BHS Class of 1977 will be Sunday at 5 p.m. at the home of Sherry Reeder Bingaman off Appletown Road.

Class of 1963 to meet Aug. 30
The BHS Class of 1963 will hold a reunion breakfast in preparation for the 50th class reunion at Next Dimensions on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 8 a.m.
Attendees will purchase their own breakfast.
A representative from Richards World Travel will present information on a reunion cruise to Maine and Eastern Canada slated for September 2013.
Group-rate reservations are being taken now. Classmates and other interested BHS alumni and friends are welcome to attend.

Book club plans discussion
The book club at Turn the Page Bookstore has selected “My Name is Mary Sutter” by Robin Oliveira for discussion at its monthly meeting.
The group meets the second Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m. Membership is open.
Also at Turn the Page, Doug Bast, Tim Doyle and author Nora Roberts will be signing “Images of Boonsboro” Saturday, Sept. 15, from noon to 2 p.m.
The book can be purchased in advance and autographed. Turn the Page Bookstore is at 18 N. Main St. in Boonsboro.
Way to go, Justin Warner
In case you haven’t heard, the newest “Food Network” star has ties to the community.
Justin Warner, proprietor of Brooklyn hotspot Do or Dine, recently won the nationally televised competition. Justin is the son of Jan (Arnold) Warner, a graduate of BHS, and the grandson of Jane and Joe Arnold, who were teachers at BES and BHS for many years.
Church yard sale
Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Boonsboro has indoor and outdoor yard sale spaces available for Boonesborough Days. The cost is $15 per day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, and Saturday, Sept. 8. To reserve a space, call Debbie in the church office at 301-432-2247, or Audrey at 301-432-8367. Spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis. The church is at 33 Potomac St. near the park.
Class of 1951
The Boonsboro Class of 1951 will hold a reunion Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 11:30 a.m. at Western Sizzlin’ Steak House.
The meeting will be held in the back room before the meal.
Each person will order and pay for their meal.
