Church to sell chocolate eggs
Christ Reformed United Church of Christ in Sharpsburg is selling homemade chocolate peanut butter and coconut Easter eggs for 50 cents each.

Bilton to speak at library
Kathy Bilton, from the Potomac Valley Audubon Society, will speak at Sharpsburg Library Wednesday, March 6, at 7 p.m.

Bands to hold spaghetti dinner
The Boonsboro Middle and High School Band Boosters will hold a spaghetti dinner/band performance Friday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Boonsboro High School. The menu includes spaghetti served with salad, bread and a beverage. Baked goods will be available for purchase.
The Boonsboro Middle and High School bands will perform.
Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and those 8 and younger. Children younger than 3 eat free. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Lutheran Church forms sewing group
Mount Zion Lutheran Church, at 20214 N. Locust Grove Road, invites the community to join a sewing group that meets one day and one evening a month.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to noon and 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. No sewing skills are necessary. Plenty of jobs are available for everyone. Volunteers are needed to cut material, pin pieces together and tie quilts together. Anyone interested in meeting new people, helping to make useful items for others and learning new skills, come and bring a friend.
