The Hagerstown Business and Professional Women’s Club will hold its monthly dinner meeting Monday, Jan. 7, at Hager Hall Conference Center, 901 Dual Highway. Networking will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the program titled “Look Great at Any Age.”

The dinner program is open to members and interested guests.

Volleyball for girls
There will be an open volleyball session for girls ages 11 to 14 on Friday evenings from 8 to 9:30 p.m. The session will run from Jan. 4 until the end of May. There will be instruction, match play and possible tournament participation for all levels of play.

Line dance slated for Jan. 12
The Country Western Dance Association will hold its first dance of the new year Saturday, Jan. 12, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Maugansville Ruritan Club on Maugans Avenue.
The event will be line dancing for singles and couples. It is open to the public. Admission costs $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.
The Ruritan Club is at 18007 Maugans Ave. in Maugansville.
