Class of 1977 to hold reunion

The Boonsboro High Class of 1977 will hold its 35-year reunion Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Elks Lodge, starting at 5 p.m. 

All class members and spouses are invited to attend a buffet-style dinner and attend the Boonsboro High homecoming game the night of Oct. 19.

Piscitelli to speak on Jex

Deborah Piscitelli, executive director of the Harpers Ferry Historical Association, will speak on the artist Garnet Jex Friday, Sept. 28, at 5:15 p.m. at the Washington County Arts Council Gallery.

The Garnet Jex collection is owned by the Sharpsburg Historical Society Sharpsburg. Prints of 10 of the images are available for sale as well as note cards that feature 12 different paintings from the series.
