The Smithsburg Volunteer Fire Co. is holding a chicken barbecue Saturday from 10 a.m. until the chicken is sold out. The event will be at Debbie’s Soft Serve on Md. 64 (Jefferson Boulevard). The cost is $6 for half a chicken or $7 for chicken with baked beans and coleslaw.
