Hagerstown Choral Arts will present “Christmas Potpourri” Saturday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 15 Randolph Ave. in Hagerstown.
There is no admission cost for the concert.

Shiloh United Methodist Church will host a “Star” breakfast Saturday, Dec. 3, starting at 9 a.m. Those ages 2 to 12 are invited. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

Losses for the week totaled 20 1/2 pounds for TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 0077.
The best TOPS losers were Joan Staub and Millie Toms. The best KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) losers were Louise Kline and Marlette.
The no-no snack for the week is doughnuts. Kathy Renner won the ha-ha prize.
Highlights from the monthly awards program included the following: 79 members weighed in for the month; 34 of those had perfect attendance. Honored KOPS were Louise Kline, Jean Betker and Dorothy Smith. The best losers were Patsy Price and Charlie House. The shining stars were Jean Hart and Mary Jo Cunningham.
Dottie Alexander presented the program on “Weight Loss Now.” She said diet and exercise are the best approaches for successful weight loss. She said medication and surgery both result in minimal success.
Chapter members collected 860 cards to send to the troops. The hats, scarves and mittens drive continues through the end of the month.
The Christmas party will be Monday, Dec. 12.
