Cascade Elementary
A report from Cascade Elementary School fifth-grade teachers Austin Gray and Angie Bowers:
The fifth-grade teachers ask parents to continue to check the students’ planners each night and review their homework with them.
Math has been exciting working with their benchmark, and then it was on to decimals, fractions and percents.
Reading — please, try to read with your child each night.
Science was extremely interesting with the building and eruption of their own volcano.
Social studies was the study of the geography of the world. Also, the students have been studying the regions of the United States and the five themes of geography.
