Maugansville Little League registration will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Maugansville Ruritan building, 18007 Maugans Ave.
Boys and girls ages 4 to 18 who are interested in playing baseball are welcome to register.
Also, the league is looking for volunteers to coach, umpire, be a team mom/dad, and other serving positions. Student service learning hours are available.
Opening ceremonies on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. will kick off the season, followed by a full slate of games.

Valentine’s Line Dance
The Country Western Dance Association will hold a Valentine’s dance for singles and couples Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the former Quincy Gym, 7888 Anthony Highway, Waynesboro, Pa.,
The dance is open to the public.
Tickets cost $5.

Chocolate feast Saturday
There will be a chocolate feast Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 29 East Ave., State Line, Pa.
Chocolates, cookies, baked goods, Valentine gifts and other items will be available for purchase.
Longmeadow Lions Club to have guest speaker Feb. 14
Beth Alphin will give a slide presentation on her Panama trip at Longmeadow Lions Club’s meeting Thursday, Feb. 14, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Always Ron’s, 29 N. Burhan’s Blvd. Spouses are invited. Lion Club members from other branches are welcome, but requested to call 301-739-2815 for reservations.
Sports card show
There will be a sports card show Sunday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Maugansville Ruritan building, 18007 Maugans Ave.
Admission is free. There will be door prizes and 35 vendor tables.
