Baseball at National is for players ages 4 to 12, based on their age as of April 30.
Parents will need to bring the child’s birth certificate as well as three proofs of residency. You can print out and fill in the registration forms as found at www.leaguelineup.com.
Registration and tryouts are as follows:
- Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 9- and 10-year-olds
- At 11 a.m., players who are 11- and 12-years-old should report.
- On Sunday at 12:30, all 9- to 12-year-olds are invited to register and try out.
- On Saturday, March 16, all 7-year-olds and any player who played minor league last year, ages 8 to 11.
- Opening day is on April 13, so let’s get ready to play ball.
Girls softball tryouts
Any girls who live in the National Little League area who are interested in playing girls softball are invited to try out at the Sharpsburg Little League field.
On Wednesday, 7- and 8-year-olds should report to the field at 5:30 p.m.
On Thursday, 9- and 10-year-olds report at 5:30 p.m.
On Friday, 11- to 14-year-olds should report at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, 10- and 11-year-olds should report from 10 a.m. to noon; 9- to 12-year-olds from noon to 2 p.m.; and 7- and 8-year-olds from 2 to 3 p.m.
