The Rohrersville Ruritan Club will hold an oyster, ham and turkey dinner Saturday from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at the Ruritan’s Schoolhouse Building.
The meal will be served buffet style with all the sides. The building is handicap-accessible.

Frocks Frolic
The fifth Frocks Frolic is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the social room of Trinity Lutheran Church, 64 S. Main St. in Boonsboro. Dresses for all occasions will be on sale, and none will cost more than $50. All proceeds will benefit the youth group.
Movie day
“Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom” (90 minutes, rated PG) will be shown Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Boonsboro Library.

Pancake supper
Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro will hold its annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m.
There is no set cost, but donations will be accepted.
Indoor yard sale
St. James Brethren Church will hold its annual indoor winter yard sale Saturday, March 3, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 17718 Lappans Road in St. James.
An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m. and lunch will follow until 2 p.m. The meal costs $6.50.

Kids bingo
First Hose Co. of Boonsboro will present a kids bingo Sunday, March 4, at the fire hall. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and games start at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $15 and include 15 games of bingo. Tickets purchased before Feb. 29 cost $10.
Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
Chili cook-off
Do you make the world’s best chili? Consider entering a batch in Trinity Lutheran’s annual chili cook-off, planned for Saturday, March 31, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded for the best chili.
The event will include live entertainment.

Gun bonanza
Boonsboro Volunteer Fire Co. will hold a gun bonanza Saturday, April 14.
Tickets cost $35, which admits two for dinner, DJ, dancing and the bonanza.
