This year’s Smithsburg Pride Days will be held May 19 and May 20 at Veterans Park.
Activities include an all- you-can-eat breakfast at the Smithsburg Fire Hall, crafts and food vendors, parade, music and talent throughout the day, street dance and fireworks.

Pancake breakfast to be held Saturday
The Washington County 4-H Dairy Club will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday from 6:30 to 11 a.m. at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center’s multipurpose building. The ag center is off Sharpsburg Pike.
The menu includes pancakes and sausage. The meal costs $6 per person. Those 8 and younger will be admitted free.
Proceeds will benefit the 4-H Dairy Club of Washington County.

Washington County 4-H clubs are comprised of those ages 5 to 18, who participate in experiential learning activities in a group setting or individually.

Bingo event to benefit scholarship pageants
A Vera Bradley and Friends Bingo will be held Sunday at Hagerstown Elks Lodge 378, at 11063 Robinwood Drive in Hagerstown.
Doors open at noon, the meal will be served at 1 p.m., and bingo starts at 2 p.m.
