The service included some of Pastor Mark’s favorite hymns and scriptures, special music by the choir and a skit titled “A Day in the Life of Pastor Mark,” which was written and presented by the youth group.

In addition, various speakers shared the history of Pastor Mark’s calling to the church, how he and his family have touched the lives of those in the congregation over the years and the overall impact his ministry has had both on St. Andrew and in the community.

Gifts were presented from each committee and organization in the church, as well as from the congregation at large, most notably funds for a cruise and an additional week’s vacation in which to enjoy it. Several out-of-town guests and family members traveled to Williamsport to attend the celebration.
