WILLIAMSPORT —
Williamsport Storage Bins Inc. installed a 102-kilowatt solar-energy system on the roof of its Valley Storage facility on Robinwood Drive.
The system comprises 416 individual solar panels that will produce electricity to be used on-site.
According to company President Todd Snook, the system will reduce the company’s carbon footprint and provide more than 70 percent of the facility’s annual electricity needs. The system was installed by Millennium 3 Energy of Hagerstown.
