Pat Horning and Mike Reed were the best TOPS losers. Darla Hartley, Joan Budny and Lu M were the best KOPS losers.
Patsy Martin won the ha! ha! prize, and candy is the no-no snack for the week.
Activities for the day included a Chinese auction. Paralee Barber presented a program titled “Create Your Own Masterpiece,” with the masterpiece being ourselves. Highlights of her program included discussion of why diets fail, attitude, how food is viewed, identifying the cause of overeating and the importance of small changes.
Fall Rally will be in Ridge Maryland on Oct. 20, and the next SRD will be April 5 and 6, 2013.
The group meets on Monday mornings at First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave. in Hagerstown.

Former Home Federal Savings Bank reunion
A reunion is planned for all former employees who had banking offices in the Hagerstown area, Hancock and LaVale, Md.
The catered picnic is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m. in Doub’s Woods Park, off Sharpsburg Pike in Hagerstown.
Reservations should be made before Aug. 17 by contacting Celia Ausherman, former corporate secretary of the bank, at 22203 Ringgold Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742-1406.
The cost per person is $16.
In addition to Ausherman, those serving on the reunion committee are Donna Staggers, Joyce Snurr, Dick Kidd and Jim Failor.
Home Federal was organized in 1898 and served Washington County community until it was acquired in recent years by Fidelity Bank, and then PNC.
Repeat Performance summer clearance
The annual summer clearance of all merchandise will be held starting Tuesday at 10 a.m.
All summer clothing, plus all other items, will be marked down to 50 percent off the original price.
Store hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The store is at 18706 Crestwood Drive, just off Pennsylvania Avenue north and just behind Dunkin’ Donuts.
