There willbe an open volleyball session for girls ages 11 to 14 years on Fridays from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

The session will run from Jan. 4 until the end of May. There will be instruction, match play and possible tournament participation for all levels of play.

Preschool to hold open house Sunday

Northern Cross Preschool will hold an open house Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

The preschool is for 3- and 4-year-olds. It meets Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. from September until mid-May. 

It is at First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave. in Hagerstown. 

Children are welcome to attend the open house with their parents.
