East Antietam Street between Potomac Street and Renaissance Way reopened Friday afternoon after being closed that morning.

The street was scheduled to be closed periodically this week while renovations to the Washington County Library continue, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown's website, www.hagerstownmd.org.

The street was closed Wednesday, but was open again Thursday.

Work crews from Dustin Construction were expected to be placing concrete on the north side of the site Tuesday. The street would need to be closed to accommodate concrete delivery vehicles on the site.
