Berkeley Co. authorities looking for missing 45-year-old man

Authorities in Berkeley County are looking for Charles Luther Short Sr., a 45-year-old man who was last seen on June 14 at his home in the Martinsburg area, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department announced Monday.

Short is white, 6 feet tall and weighs about 230 pounds, police said in a news release. He has salt-and-pepper-colored hair and brown eyes. Police said Short reportedly has severe medical conditions that require daily medication and has difficulty walking without assistance.


Police also said the missing man has a very distinct scar on his midsection.
