Berkeley Springs man charged with making terroristic threats

A Berkeley Springs, W.Va., man has been arrested on a felony warrant for terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to “shoot up” a woman’s home, her place of employment and her children’s school, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.

Joe Lewis Butts, 18, was being held in the Eastern Regional Jail Monday night on $100,000 bond, a jail spokesman said.


Deputies served the warrant on Butts on Wednesday and he was arrested without incident, the release said.
