MARLOWE, W.Va. —
Berkeley County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a breaking and entering Wednesday morning at Marlowe Elementary School. According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, two unidentified males forced entry into the school at 9550 Williamsport Pike (U.S. 11) early Wednesday. School employees arriving for work discovered the breaking and entering and notified law enforcement.
Deputies were able to recover evidence that will assist in the investigation, the release said.
Law enforcement was able to obtain a video of the two males involved in the break-in from the school security system.
One was wearing a dark hoodie, while the other was wearing a gray or white hoodie. The person in the dark hoodie was also wearing basketball-style shorts and a pair of athletic shoes. He appeared to be short and stocky. The male in the light-colored hoodie was wearing jeans. He appeared to be tall and thin.
