West Virginia University Hospitals-East’s Jefferson Memorial Hospital recently announced its employee Jewel Award winners for June.
The Ruby Award was presented to Kristy Brown, a registered nurse in the Special Care Unit. The award represents richness and warmth in the delivery of care, and the recipient demonstrates a willingness to assist patients, staff and others with knowledge and experience. He or she is open to new ideas and ways of providing exceptional service.
The Diamond Award was presented to Jessica Condon, performance improvement coordinator. The award represents the ability to withstand great pressure and temperature. The recipient displays many brilliant qualities and is appreciated for his or her fine characteristics.
