A man was flown to York (Pa.) Hospital for injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident around noon Wednesday near Marion, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Logan W. Grubbs was flown from the scene with “unknown injuries” after the crash that occurred about 12:20 p.m., police said.

Grubbs was in satisfactory condition Thursday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Grubbs was riding a 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Swamp Fox Road when he swerved to miss an animal in the roadway and struck a guardrail at the intersection of Colorado Street, just west of Exit 10 on Interstate 81, police said in a news release.

Police did not list Grubbs’ age or address in its release. No other information was provided.
