Totem Pole audiences donate more than $6,000 for retired nuns

At the sold out August performances at Totem Pole Playhouse, actress Kim Richards asked theatergoers to contribute a little for the retired nuns of the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Danville, Pa.

Also, during Richerds' comedy, in which she plays a stern nun running a lesson on Catholic sacraments, latecomers and cut-ups were fined $1 each and fines all went to the fund as well.


All together, audiences generously contributed $6,812 over the course of eight shows.
