WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A scroll saw, glass cutter and 20 cafeteria tables are on the list of surplus equipment being sold Saturday, Nov. 3, by the Waynesboro Area School District during an auction.
The auction will be held rain or shine at Fairview Elementary School at 9 a.m.
Auctioneer Robert S. Benchoff has a list of items posted at www.auctionzip.com.
“There are some wood tools — two planers, a table saw, joiners, radial arm saw,” said Dwight Needham, facilities director for the district.
The tools came from technology education classes and several electric stoves from family and consumer sciences classes, Needham said.
The Lincoln Intermediate Unit might send additional items, Needham said.
The school district will receive all proceeds, except 15 percent for Benchoff’s fee. It asks that buyers try to haul items away the day of the auction.
