Employees from Wells Fargo and Lincoln Lanes took two days and volunteered their time to help work on the Habitat for Humanity house under construction at 402 E. Washington St.
Mark D. Story, executive director for Franklin County Habitat for Humanity, said in a news release, “To date, local volunteers have worked over 800 hours on this project. We are delighted that the good people from Wells Fargo and Lincoln Lanes have taken this opportunity to show their practical support for our community.”
In addition to the volunteer time, The Wells Fargo Foundation made a $15,000 gift to support Habitat and its work in Franklin County. This gift is the fourth largest ever received by Habitat of Franklin County, according to the news release.
