CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. —
A Winchester, Va., man charged with homicide by vehicle in a November 2011 crash waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday in the Franklin County (Pa.) Court of Common Pleas.
In addition to the homicide by vehicle charge, David Foy, 49, is charged with involuntary manslaughter and four summary offenses, according to online court records.
Foy was driving a Subaru Outback on Pa. 16 east of Mercersburg, Pa., when the vehicle went off the road at the intersection with Welsh Run Road and hit a house. Catherine Foy, 51, of Winchester, died of injuries suffered in the crash, according to published reports.
Criminal charges were filed May 9.
