There's a brand new facelift going on at the Kroger's on University Boulevard in Blacksburg.
If you shop at the store, you know it's been going through a remodel since April.
The exterior is being changed, and the entrance into the store is being made wider.
Kroger is adding new shopping carts, and a new Deli Bistro where meals are made from scratch.
The bakery, the gourmet cheese shop, the pharmacy -- they’ve all been expanded.
"The store itself is almost 40 years old and this will be the third remodel for this store. Basically we're replacing nearly all of the casing, shelving, display pieces,” store manager Jerry Wharton said.
The remodeling should be finished sometime next month. Kroger says it expects to add as many as 20 new jobs, bringing the total number of employees close to 200.
