DANVILLE, Va.—
Trees are up and decorated in Danville for a good cause.
More than 30 trees from non-profits and business in Pittsylvania County and Danville are on show at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research.
The event, Decorating Trees for a Cause. is in its sixth year.
This time, all money raised will be distributed to all organizations. The one with the most votes will get a little more for their group and charity of choice.
"This time of year, during the holidays is when people like to you reach out and help others so it's really great way to get everyone in the holiday spirit," said Meagan Baker, Communication Specialist with the institute.
You can donate cash to vote for your favorite tree. The event ends December 21st.
