Route 460 West in Lynchburg has reopened following an accident Wednesday morning.

LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Lynchburg Department of Emergency Services is asking drivers to avoid the 4600 block of Richmond Highway (Route 460 West) because of an accident.
According to the Lynchburg DES, Route 460 West is down to one lane of traffic. Click here to see a more exact location.
The Department of Emergency Services is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
Here is the message the Lynchburg Department of Emergency Services put on Twitter:
"Due to an accident the 4600 block of Richmond Hwy is reduced to one lane of traffic. Westbound only. Please avoid this area if possible."
