Truck Crash on Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County (Robert Foresman / January 15, 2013) |

The Virginia Department of Transportation says the accident has been cleared.

We're following a traffic alert out of Rockbridge County.
Emergency Management Coordinator Robert Foresman says a tractor trailer truck crashed into a guard rail on north-bound Interstate 81 in the far northern part of the county.
The left lane is closed right now near exit 205 for Racine Road.
The crash ripped open the gas tank.
Foresman says thirty-five to forty gallons of fuel spilled.
Police told Foresman the driver might have fallen asleep.
The driver wasn't hurt.
