QUEENS, N.Y. (WPIX)—Police want the public's help in locking up the man they say has sexually assaulted three women in the Flushing and College Point sections of Queens going back to last fall.
Investigators say the most recent attack took place Feb. 27 at approximately 3:45 a.m. That's when the accused rapist approached a 25-year-old woman near 37-04 Bowne St., attacked her and fled the scene.
The other assaults happened in September and December of 2010. In the Sept. 22 attack, police say he approached a 37-year-old woman a little after 10 p.m. near 34th Avenue, knocked her to the ground, and raped her before he got away.
The Dec. 12 assault took place around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sanford Avenue and 147th Street. Police say this time, he dragged a 27-year-old woman to a secluded area, struck her in the face, slammed her up against a wall and sexually assaulted her. Investigators say he took off with her cell phone and wallet.
Authorities describe the suspect as an Hispanic man in his 20s, approximately 5'5" tall, weighing 130 lbs. If you have any information please call CrimeStoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
