Body Discovered in Dauphin County

The remains of an unidentified female was discovered in a creek in Dauphin County Thursday afternoon. A passerby noticed the body while waking across a bridge on North Harrisburg street at Mall Road in Swatara Township. The woman's body was recovered Spring Creek and turned over to the Dauphin County Coroner.

An investigation continues into the cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for next week. Anyone with informatiion on the case is asked to contact the Swatara Township Police at (717) 564-2550.
