Original Story

A woman recently arrested in California after being identified by a viewer of ID Network is back in Central Pennsylvania. Michelle McMullen, 30, was brought in to the Susquehanna Township Police Department around 4am this morning.

McMullen is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from Progress Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Susquehanna Township.

Family discovered McMullen missing back in October of 2008 when she did not report to classes at the Grambling State University in Louisiana. A few days after she was reported missing, her car was found abandoned in Maryland.

A few months later, police were abloe to track her down in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where she was working under a false name.

McMullen confirmed her true identity, but was able to avoid arrest and was once again on the run.

Police arrested her at the end of January in California. She was found working in a beauty supply store.

McMullen was brought in to Susquehanna Township Police Headquarters this morning where she is being interviewed by police. She is now awaiting arraignment by a judge.

"It's the closure aspect. It's the closure for the church that is the victim in this case. It's the closure for the officers who have been working this case for upwards of two years now trying to track her. For them, it's time to move forward as well," said Susquehanna Township Police Chief Robert Martin.
