Barbara Sprecher, 70, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.
She was born in Hagerstown, Md., on Oct. 7, 1941.
She was the daughter of the late Harold and Hilda Sprecher of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Allen Seegert.
She is survived by one brother, Harold T. Sprecher of Tennessee, and his family.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Jon Yeater, his wife, Maddy, and her grandsons, Maxwell and Jakob, of Greencastle, Pa.; and her son, Dwain Yeater of Tempe, Ariz.
She is also survived by her beloved stepchildren, Tamara Cooley, Christopher Seegert, Angela Zacharda, Cynthia Hodge and their spouses; and eight grandchildren.
Barbara was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Class of 1959. She was also a graduate of HBC Class of 1960.
She was a past member of the Eastern Star.
Barbara worked many years as a waitress, but her real love was as a Mary Kay consultant.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, on Oct. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m.
