Carol Cook, 71, of Winchester, Va. and formerly of Leetown, W.Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Westminster-Canterbury in Winchester. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, W.Va. The service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, Md.
