James D. "Jim" Shupe Sr., 81, of Boonsboro, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. The family will receive friends Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, Boonsboro. The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
