Junior Lee Kline, 87, of 154 Artizan St., Williamsport, Md., and formerly of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Williamsport Retirement Village.
Born Thursday, Dec. 25, 1924, in Boonsboro, Md., he was the son of the late John C. Kline and the late Maude Alice (Greenwalt) Kline. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hope Kline, in 2004.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Junior was last employed with Boat US, where he was well known as "Pappy" to all his friends. He was a member of Virginia Avenue Church of God.
He is survived by his daughter, Martha M. Kline of Hagerstown, Md.; and sisters, Virginia McMaster of Eustis, Fla., and Magdalene Green of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Services will be Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Shawn Bushman officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 27, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
