Kimberley Kaye Carper, 50, of Hagerstown, Md., and formerly of Charles Town, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at her residence.
Born May 19, 1962, in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of William Elmer Carper and Mary Kathleen (Boyd) Carper of Charles Town.
She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, and attended West Virginia Institute of Technology, where she excelled in athletics.
She was employed by Lenox Distribution in Hagerstown as an inventory control auditor.
She enjoyed playing basketball and softball.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, William E. Carper Jr. of Charles Town; four sisters, Shelly Sechrist and husband, Woody, of Martinsburg, W.Va., Victoria McDonald of Charles Town, Patty Moreno of Millville, W.Va., and Darlene Corbin of Ranson, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Sunday, July 22, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home's South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood, W.Va., with the Rev. Tony Fish officiating. Interment will be private.
