Lawrence Tracy Cline, 56, of Mason, Ohio, died Sept. 8, 2012, at Hospice of Cincinnati.
Born Oct. 26, 1955, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Robert W. Cline Sr. and Grace (Mercereau) Cline.
He was the loving father of Brandon, Justin, Spencer, Serina and Jason; and the beloved husband of Gail Andersen.
He is survived by his brother, Douglas (Lynn) Cline; sisters-in-law, Linda Deubert, Susan (John) Lethbridge and Gayle Cline; brother-in-law, Jerry Matheny; mother-in-law, Margaret Andersen; and 11 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Craig and Robert II.
Larry was a 1973 graduate of Williamsport High School, where he was president of the Blue Band, active in the jazz band, and starred in basketball and high jump. He was a 1977 graduate of Amherst College, Amherst, Mass, with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics. He received a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia. He was employed by Procter & Gamble for his entire career, working in Baltimore, Greensboro, N.C., and Cincinnati. He was a caring and compassionate husband and father, putting family and friends first. Larry died after a long battle with frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).
