Robert Jay “Bobby” Miller, 50, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at his home.
Born May 14, 1962, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Eunice Fay Flora Miller of Hagerstown and the late Robert Lee Miller.
He was a truck driver, most recently employed by Food Lion in Greencastle, Pa., and previously drove for various companies in Washington County, Md.
He previously attended Calvary Temple, Williamsport, Md.
Survivors include, besides his mother, daughter, Bobbie J. Shanholtz and her husband, Lawrence, of Maugansville, Md.; son, Christopher J. Myers of Hagerstown; stepson, Anthony O. Boward of Clear Spring, Md.; sister, Kimberly L. Arnold of Hagerstown; brother, Keith Miller and his wife, Eve, of Williamsport; and grandsons, Kaleb, L.J. and Jaxon.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Heather R. Miller.
The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.
There will be a private burial, where he will be laid to rest beside his daughter.
The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses, in care of his mother, Eunice F. Miller, 819 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
