Rosalie Marie Shockey, 82, of Hagerstown, Md., died on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at her home.
Born Sept. 27, 1928, in Hancock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Mae Bishop Mort.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. (Bud) Shockey, on Feb. 21, 2011.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden and playing bingo on Saturday nights.
She is survived by two daughters, Rose Marie Snyder, and Barbara A. Ellis; three sons, Harry E. (Buddy) Shockey, Jeffrey R. Shockey and Steven A. Shockey; two sisters, Edna Rossman and Gladys Seal; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen (Sissy) Reed and Jenny Davis; and one brother, Raymond Mort.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward L. Poling will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
