Rosemary Henneberger Toston, 84, of 16505 Virginia Ave., Williamsport, Md., passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at the Homewood Retirement Center.
Born Sunday, Nov. 18, 1928, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Hubert A. Henneberger and the late Mildred F. (Lookabaugh) Henneberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Toston in 1997.
She was employed with F.L. Soudth & Co. in Cresskill, N.J. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Clear Spring American Legion Post 222, Ladies of the Elks 378, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 89, Re Temple No. 118 Daughter of the Nile, Cumberland, Md., Tri State Nile Club, Hillbilly Clan No. 42, Williamsport Country Club and the AARP.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, she was the last surviving member of her family.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan E. Shrader and Phyllis A. Grubb; and a brother, Joseph H. Henneberger.
Graveside services will be held Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Clear Spring with the Rev. George Limmer officiating.
Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, from 1 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 North Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19101.
